Thursday, April 14th, 2005 Clocky made his national television debut on Good Morning America this past week, but not without a bout of anxiety. Clocky became fickle the night before filming and Gauri was up until the wee hours of the morning making sure that the prototype Clocky was going to behave on camera. Luckily, Clocky got up his nerve for the live segment. Watch Clocky make his way around the GMA set: Posted in Press Wednesday, April 6th, 2005 Gauri was interviewed by Sean Cole for NPR today. He came to visit her at the M.I.T. Media Lab to find out what Clocky is all about. Clocky is still a prototype and has kinks to be sorted out. At one point, Gauri demonstrated her proof-of-concept Clocky and Sean suggests that Clocky is trying to “hump” his tape recorder. He’s still a pup, it’s not his fault! Listen here.

They recommend Clocky to the person that has a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. The article does a great job of summarizing the Clocky story, from it’s conception at the MIT Media Media Lab, to the viral press coverage the idea received. Posted in Press Friday, April 1st, 2005 As you may know Clocky’s been getting a lot of attention in the press, but this is different. Check out a spoof inspired by Clocky: Bloggy, a robot that helps you blog. Their moto is “Blogging is hard. Bloggy is easy.” What a compliment to our product!
